Last month, someone was going around promoting a special deal for this place called Studio EM and for a good price, you got to sample 4 exclusive services. I've done 2 out of 4 of the services and I'm not disappointed. The first one was an eyebrow wax (OW) and a facial, and the second one was a hairstyle! I'm so in love with my hairstyle! I'm just not used to having this little of hair.

I'm back from my trip to the desert! My phone died this morning, so I was unable to twitter the rest of my adventure, but I got to stop off an see those Cabazon Dinosaurss I'd been wanted to see for years. (You know; it's those giant life-like statues off the freeway by Palm Springs.) I got a good amount of pictures of the places we visited; the major reason to us going out there was to visit Salvation Mountain. Those of you who've seen the film "Into the Wild" might remember the scene where Emile's character goes out to Slab City and Kirsten's character invites him on a walk...

I went there a couple years ago, but never really looked around... This time I got to, and got a lot of pictures. There's also a set of towers nearby that my Grandpa dubs "Sin City" and man is it weird. There's grafiti everywhere and while we were there, two roosters were trapped in one of the tanks. And a dog was barking in a enclosed tank, but quieted when we approached. Then, on the top of the hill was a tower that was very anti-government, but the other tower was very, very suggestive. Very Pagan-like, very Buddhist like. But the drawings were all done in sexual positions. It made my grandpa embarrassed.

I also got to go down to the Salton Sea and snap some photos of an Abandoned marina. Very dead, but very neat.

Ever since the air conditioning at work today hasn't worked and it was over 80 degrees inside, I've been feeling sick with nasea and a headache! It's the heat. The heat! Though, I bet the NERDS I just ate right now are helping.

Signed up at HollywoodOS under a free subscription. Am hoping that I did some calls from people. :( I think I may need to get a subscription though in order to guarantee something.

Got some back issues of Fangoria (Dark Castle's films) to scan and put up on my DC Site.

Bought more crap from amazon.com that I don't need, but have been wanting. Dexter Season 2, Heroes Season 2... April, stop it!

Knott's Berry Farm is hiring for monsters for their Halloween Haunt and I think I wanna audition. (I was a monster in 2002 and HAD SO MUCH FUN!) I can make the September 5th casting call.

I'm loving this new phone Dad got for me. Since I was eligible for an upgrade, I got a Verizon LG ENV2 with a keypad.

I can never finish icon challenges. I get a good amount and then flake out. (The Krycek and Sam ones were challenges, but I flaked.) I should just stick to contests... Speaking of flakes, saw Aaron Stanford's movie "Flakes," loved it, and now want to open a cereal bar in Orange County. How awesome would that be?

Okay, so I've made a new layout! It's Atreyu's latest album cover and since I could only find the front of the album online, I scanned my copy and photoshopped the front and back together into one image;

I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to photoshopping my images, so I don't know if it's good enough. What do you guys think?

There are two things I don't like about it and one I can fix, but I don't know how;
1) Since the layout's width is smaller, big images screw up the posistion of my usericons, so I've had to change my viewing so that the images are small buttons that link to the bigger picture.
2) I HATE the white boxes on the top of the header that pops up whenever I rollover the links and I have been trying for hours to find out where in the CSS coding it's located so I can change it and make it look like the linking on the sidebar. Anyone know how to change this, or what community I can go on and ask for help?

And now that the sidebar views my tags, I have to go through my 2005, 2006, ??? entries and tag them as well.

Projekt Revolution was FUN!
Rachel, Nikki and I got to the front of the crowd during "Armor of Sleep" and only hearing a couple of songs beforehand, these guys performing was amazing! Ben (the singer) came out into the crowd twice and the second time, Rachel sung in his microphone. After the performance, we got autographs, and I have to scan in mine.

Atreyu was the last on stage and after the previous band was over, I somehow made my way over the front of the stage, but I've never been pushed around and sweated on by so many people in my life. It was gross, but so worth being up front. Beachballs were being thrown everywhere and people were crowd surfing. There was a huge mosh pit behind me and I was being pushed and shoved all over; so I'm positive a lot of my photos were blurry.

Bought an Atreyu and Linkin Park shirt (finally I can show my pride), got something to eat, and got seats to the main stage where we saw the last half of "The Bravery." Then Chris Cornell came on and sung. It's funny cause I didn't know he was the singer for "Audioslave" and "Soundgarden" at first, but once Rachel told me, I was like "OH DER!" He was amazing and when he went into the stage, all these hands came up and started touching him. I swear, I need to draw a picture, cause that scene looked surreal. Then, he crowd surfed. :) Chester (of Linkin Park) came on and sung with Chris while their kids were bouncing around on stage. It was adorable.

Linkin Park's performance was FUCKING AMAZING! I'd never seen them before, but man, I was impressed! I wanna go again! I loved how the lighting effects were done cause that alone was worth the show. I was singing along the entire show. Thank you so much Rachel!

Now I need to upload those images. I take too many pictures!

In case you guys were curious, the exterior shots of the Observatory were used at the beginning of my favorite film "House on Haunted Hill." So that's one of the main reasons I've always wanted to go and why I also took a lot of shots of the building.

At least that's what mom says, but I swear I was just talking with him. Granted he wanted to know my name, where I was from, and if I had any family and I was vice versa with him a... Okay, so maybe I was flirting, but dammit I should have gotten some form of contact from him afterward because he was adorable! ^.~ *Head.Palm* Just thought I'd share the Freddy clone report, that's all. Honest!

I finally opened Dark Castle Online again! It's not entirely done, (a little over half way,) but there's already so much stuff on there, that I went ahead and let the public see it.

Today at work, there was an "almost" shooting across the street. I didn't see anything other than a police car parked in front of our parking lot, but one of my coworkers said he saw the whole thing; two mexicans with their heads completely shaved parked with their green car in the middle of the street and started talking to this other guy. One of the gang members reached behind his back like he was going to pull out a gun and the younger guy ran into the apartments across the street. My coworker is the one who called the cops as soon as he saw what was happening mainly because there were kids playing nearby, but also because someone was in danger of being shot.

The apartments across the street are a bit barrio; a long time ago there used to be drug dealings and gang hangouts, but they've only slightly gotten better.
