So in dire craving to encounter some ghostly experience, (I wanted to do a seance,) and having my friends want to hang out with me, the only way I'd go out is if we went up to
Black Star Canyon past Aliso Viejo, California. Amazingly they agreed to go. Well, Mike did. Poor Desire had no idea where we were going. I called up Daniel and he wanted to go too.
I got directions, which seemed sketchy being as how they were leading me into Orange, but didn't question them and headed off toward where I work. (Sad, I have to get up in five hours.) Desire insisted that she take her truck, and knowing that there wouldn't be enough room, one of us 4 had to lie in the back... Got Daniel and picked up Mike. I wanted to ride in the back too because it seemed like fun and so Desire drove down the streets with me giggling like a maniac in the back of her open back, while Mike stayed silent. Worried, Desire stopped and insisted I sit in the front with Mike and poor Daniel had to ride in the back on the 22 freeway.
I honestly don't know why I hang with Desire? She hasn't changed since last time and is still a scary ass driver. Because of the construction going on, there was a lot of traffic and Desire got off. A bit pissed, I told her to keep on following the 22 and upon arriving in Santa Ana she was concerned of being pulled over because of Daniel in the back. We stopped, talked and I said I'd drive us there. So back on the 22 we went, traffic cleared now and followed the direction to the rich neighborhood in Orange.
The directions led us to a part I'd never been before and we followed the houses till we got to the end... Looking at the map, we had no idea where to go and thus went to a gas station to ask for directions. The guy spoke Spanish and amazingly Mike was able to be our negotiator. The guy never heard of such a place. We then decided to head back home, get MY car and find the RIGHT directions. Turns out that I was right all along in knowing it was toward my grandparents house. (And Rachel, I do believe you told me it was there too.)
Got snacks and headed in the right direction finally. The 5 freeway is the right way to go! Lol! Let me tell you, driving down the hillside with little signs of civilization is scary. There are barely any lights and the place is filled with hills. We ended up by Irvine Lake, which was the wrong way, but our second time around we found the place. But not before having an owl come swooping by my car, causing Desire to scream and me to shriek in surprise. O.O I hate it when I scream aloud. Rather embarrassing.
The road through Black Star was closed and we drove around to look for some places to go, but "Private Territory" was marked all over the place and so finally going back to the closed road, I stopped the car, and we stayed by the roadside were we listened to the absolute silent of nature and crickets and I took a couple photos before both sets of my batteries died. The place was marked private everywhere, and not wanting to get shot at, we didn't trespass. Desire was scared and didn't want to stray too far away from the car. Traveling more, we stopped at certain places and looked around. There were a ton of huge ass spiders, and any place that wasn't fenced off, had a steep drop off below. Since Desire was scared, I did the jerk thing and made her jump even more when I'd shouted BOO at her more than once. Sorry, I'm an ass.
We ended up seeing a Fox though, and several cars passing by, not to mention a bat that attempted to do the owl thing. Didn't scream that time! Ha! Funny that not one car stopped by to check and see if we were okay. Its not safe anymore to be helpful toward fellow human beings, because 'what if we're killers...'
I'm a little disappointed that I didn't experience a supernatural happening like
many stories I've heard, but we didn't stay that long outside the car, were talking and Desire was wussing out, so we had to leave. We're defiantly going to go back, and one person less... Or maybe more, but no Desire. Sorry...
( Orbs in Black Star )This afternoon, I went outside into the backyard to feel the heat and being rather windy, I could hear voices coming toward me. Pretty sure they were human voices, but still thinking that it was a rather cool sound, I look out of the fence and see a giant black figure walk across. Human or not, I got nervous, but didn't scream... Then as funny as this is; my cat decided to jump the fence and scare me shitless! I didn't even make a sound. I would've been dead before anyone knew it.
