IT'S ZOMBIES! I know, I know, it sounds crazy, but it's the truth. There are zombies outside. I went to take a nap cause I was bored (and still tired) but this time it wasn't a blast that woke me up, it was a scream; well, series of screams really, and I had my window shut. I didn't go outside, but once again peeked through the window (I feel like one of those snooping neighbors) and someone was being EATEN right in front of my house! It's not cannibalism, or random acts of violence, it's fucking zombies! The girl outside had a hole the size of my fist (or bigger) in her stomach and I saw her reaching into the body on the ground and pull out brains in which she proceeded to eat them. There were a couple people outside watching in horror and then someone came with a gun and shot her multiple times. God, the noise was horrible. The gunshots were so loud you guys, but that's not what bugged me. It was the fact that they're real! I mean generic Romero-Ghoul-Zombie-Undead walking around and eating people! The lockdown at the hospital; I bet you anything it was zombies and the police were covering it up. That explains why they were guarding the doors. But they couldn't contain it and the zombies broke out. That has to be it! And I've heard of comets being responsible for weird shit, causing some people to get ill, but zombies are only supposed to happen in movies!!!!! It did something to the tomatoes. It's not Salmonella, it's some sort of cosmic contamination or something. It turned them into the undead! No one will say anything, no one has said anything, but I know that's it. It has to be. What else could be causing this shit? If it's something in the air then I'm doomed cause I have cold-like symptoms. D: There's nothing on the TV except for static, all the stations are dead, and I'm amazed the internet still works. It not just here, IT'S EVERYWHERE. There's blood and body parts all over the place. The cats are freaking out. I'm freaking out. I don't have a gun, but I have swords. Three of them. I need to get out of here... I really need to take that "go take a boat and live on the ocean" plan into accordance here, cause I don't want to be around town and eaten alive like that guy outside. People might think that they've taken care of the problem, but I know enough about these sort of things to know (well, seeing movies) that one zombie is not the worst that can happen. There's going to be hoards of them coming. - Tags:bliteotw

What the hell?!
The power went out for like forty five minutes and finally came back on. Then out of the blue, there's this voice on a megaphone that's telling us not to go outside. You know how in movies they go around in cars and warn people against something dangerous? Yeah, that's exactly what's happening here, except I don't know what they want us to be hiding from. There's some sort of contamination outside and the TV keeps repeating the same information about HOAG! No news of anything else going on.
I peeked out my window I saw a couple people in those gulf cars that the tenants of the mobile home always ride in and one of those people was a cop. I wonder if that fire on the ocean leaked something in the air? "If there even was a fire." No doubt, they're going to cover something up. I mean they didn't even tell us what happened!!!
Guys, I'm kinda scared here. Should I leave, or stay inside? Where would I go? I could go to my mom's but mom is in San Diego somewhere and I tried calling her, but no answer. I don't even know where she is exactly. - Tags:bliteotw

They've just now announced that it was possible some people who came into the hospital had previously eaten tomatoes. They don't know if these tomatoes have the Salmonella disease, but they said it could be the reason why there are so many sick people since there were cases of it happening just days before. But it'd never been this bad and it was never in adults since most people infected were young kids or elderly people.
I love tomatoes, but am thankful I hadn't had any in a while since I'm too poor to afford health food, let alone any food really, cause I'd probably have gotten sick... Although I do have bad allergies, or a cold again!!!!! - Tags:bliteotw

Something weird is happening. Today, I woke up at 9:30am to the sound of something exploding. I had my window open since it was so hot last night and that proved to be bad because it allowed me to hear things outside. I don't know what the hell it was, but stepping outside to look from curiosity, I could see smoke from the ocean. We have oil rigs stationed out there, so I'm guessing one of them must've blown up or something. I tried looking online, or on TV for something, but I couldn't find anything about it. I did, however, see an article about a comet passing Earth. I don't remember hearing about it passing last year. I went to work to pick up my paycheck around noon and I told everyone what I heard. They said they didn't hear the explosion, but saw the smoke. There's still been no news about the explosion. I know Huntington Beach is a small suburbia in comparison to other cities in California, but come on, there's got to be something about it! Right? Something like that isn't going to be ignored, especially since it's an oil rig! Now there are sirens blazing down PCH, and my house is right off of there, so granted the police are going to be going down that way since it's a popular road, but it sounds like a lot of police vehicles. It's already 1:30pm and I turned on the TV again to finally find some interesting news. (Though nothing about the fire in the ocean.) There appears to be some sort of lockdown going on at HOAG hospital in Newport Beach. People were coming in with flu-like symptoms that morning and complained that it was getting worse every hour. Summer flu's are really common, but the mass amounts of people was the worst they'd seen this year and the fact that they'd just gotten sick that morning was strange. They wouldn't say anything else... Just that no one could enter or leave the hospital since the cops barricaded the doors. The news is being very suspicious about this. First they say that people are really sick and now the hospital is closed... Something is going on. And it's Friday the 13th too... - Tags:bliteotw

Just to clear some things up, the previous 5 entries are completely FALSE! Fake, fake, fake, fake, fake. No, there isn't an actual zombie invasion, and yes I really am okay. I know most people know about the ficathon that's been going on, but for those of you who don't know, I'm not crazy and neither are you. It was for the event " Blog Like It's The End of the World" and I linked the page back in the first entry, although I didn't really clarify what it was. XD And I did this on purpose. I really do like my last entry. The voicepost is scarier... Although I didn't get to finish what I was going to say because it cut me off and I messed up a lot. I said "you know" way too many times in my entry and even slipped some of my words. Proof that it was all staged and how hard improv really is. :D | | |

I feel sick and I'm still shaking.
One of our neighbors was infected and I made the mistake of going outside to see him right there! It wasn't on purpose and it wasn't as though he were knocking, I just needed from fresh air and the backyard stank like dog waste. He saw me, I ran to my door and tried to shut the door, but no matter how slow he was, he got in. Mom's sleeping, the animals are with her, and I ran into my room to get my longest dagger... I never thought I'd stab anyone, kill anything more than an accidental dropping of a hamster in my palms, but I did it. I jabbed the blade into his neck as he reached out for me in the hallway and kicked him to the ground.
They're slow, easy to kill if alone, but... god, god, god, god, god! If severing the head isn't the most fucked up thing ever... I don't think I'm ever going to get over this. No matter how many more times I may have to kill another zombie, it's still horrible. And the smell of this thing. It's worse than any foul and decaying piece of meat you've ever smelt. I'm glad I had on long pants and sleeves, otherwise I might've gotten scratched, but the blood splattering... UGH!!!!
I'm not a murderer. It was self-defense. Not a killer. :(
I woke mom up. I had to. I told her what happened, and she's convinced that leaving our place and driving up to her parents in San Juan Capistrano is the best thing. My grandpa owns guns, he has a motorhome, (don't know how long that'll last when gas is no longer purchasable and we have to steal it) and we're leaving right now. I can only pack what I really need; clothes, weapons, food, the animals... I just took a shower after mom and I threw the body outside, but the smell never left.
When I get to my grandparents house I'll write another entry. - Tags:bliteotw

Blood. All over Beach Blvd. just right now! There's no body anywhere (or cops for that matter) but I can see the drag marks leading into the bushes where... I don't know what, but I can only imagine. I almost ran into another car staring at it, and I didn't think there were any other vehicles on my side of the road, despite the fact that they were on the other side speeding--what 90mph-- to get on the nearest freeway and head south to Mexico. But the car I almost hit was an SUV and abandoned. It was just laying there like dead weight (and not the casual gas guzzler,) smoke coming out of its engine. Fucking things already take up too much space on the road. And I saw the creepiest fucking thing ever too!!! Forget the blood, seeing someone on your side of the road walking with no arm and appearing hunched over is not a good thing. I would've stopped to see if she was okay, but I know what it was...
I know I should've stayed at work, but I couldn't leave my mom, Jeff, and even my animals behind without knowing if they were okay or what.
When I got back from lunch today, my manager left for lunch around the same time, and she never came back. We were calling her number, even after five PM, and still no answer from her. I'm not kidding! It's not like her at all. When the TV last reported that there was a mob of people who appeared to be drugged and attacking random people, the TV went to static. Snow on every channel! That's when we locked all the doors to the building and stayed in the back where the animals are kept for boarding. And guys, it was almost like Silent Hill; the sirens began to sound, the dogs howling, and I was almost convinced that I'd get transfered to the Other World... but then I knew that as much as I wish it were true, I'm not living in a fictional world. My co-workers didn't want me to leave, I didn't want to leave, even when we heard banging and moaning coming from the lobby. I didn't want to go, but I couldn't sit around and not know about my family.
Thank god though. Mom is home. She's scared and crying. I'm crying... I almost didn't even get into the house because of what's been going on. My complex is littered with trash and furniture is everywhere, but it's a good thing that it's also in a gated community. I'm just glad I got inside before they were going to blockade the gate; I'd never have gotten in. And if Jeff doesn't come home, he won't be able to get in... hoping he's still alive. Mom said she tried calling his cell phone and no answer. All of our animals are okay, and even Java! But Sammy and Buddy are barking like crazy and won't stop. I doubt zombies (yes I said zombies, because dammit if that's not what they are, then I don't know how else to describe them) won't eat animals, but with our dog's obnoxious behavior, we could be targeted. And I know we're supposed to be safe, but safe havens are always overrun in movies and I wish these animals would shut up! It's both scaring me and pissing me off.
Mom was lucky though. She was outside having a smoking break and saw someone get thrown out of the second story window. She wanted to go back in, but when a swarm of co-workers started running out screaming, Mom ran to her car in the parking garage and came home. She said she thought I'd be home waiting for her already, but panicked when I wasn't here. She said she called my cell and I wish I'd had my phone with me when she called. I have no way of contacting my sister either. Her phone and internet are disconnected and we haven't been in contacts with them for a while, cause you know the crap that's been going on with her lately. And worst, Ciara's birthday was yesterday. Not only did we not get to see her, but now this happens.
We don't have any real guns, but I have my three daggers under the bed, for close range defense and gardening tools that could be useful as weapons. And mom is pretty good at keeping a couple emergency kits around the house for when we would be in this kind of situation. So we have food and water, a radio, flashlights and blankets. There are smoke clouds outside, they were there when I was driving home, and besides the blood and debris, ash is all over the road from the fire. At work, we heard a couple of loud bangs, but really, it's hard to tell if it was things blowing up, or guns. Probably both.
I don't know how long the electricity is going to stay on here, but it's going to be dark in a couple of hours and light attracts them, even if we are safe for now, I don't really want to risk the chance, so I'll update in the next couple of hours, hoping I still can. There is still no TV, I am keeping it on just in case something does come back, and if we can find the right set of batteries, we'll have a radio. I'm glad I got a couple replies from my LJ-buddies on my previous entries to know you're all okay. But I'm worried about those I haven't heard from.
Be safe you guys! Please! I hope you're all okay and this is only happening here... (As dreadful as that sounds.) - Tags:bliteotw

That flu virus that was going around in LA, yeah, it’s here now. I work right by a people clinic and there were tons of cars parked in the parking lot. That and it’s been all over the news today. My manager’s daughter is sick and she had to go home for a bit when her daughter called and started freaking out over the phone. She came back about an hour later and sent her to the ER because not only was she hysterical, but her own daughter BIT HER! How crazy is that? I didn’t see the bite because it was wrapped up, but my co-workers and I were telling her to stay with her daughter or at least go home. She refused to leave because she needs the money and it’s a pretty busy day at work today.
And hey, our power went out for about forty five or so minutes before I took off for my lunch break. Immediately after the power outage, we heard sirens blazing and pretty much figured there was an accident. When the power did come back on, we saw on our local TV station that someone had crashed into a post and knocked out the entire block’s electrical outing. He was out of his mind and attacking the medical team as they sent the guy to the hospital, and there was a video of it!!! The guy’s covered in blood and acting like a ravaged animal. Shit, and there was a fifteen car pile up on the 405 freeway this morning. No one died at the scene, but the truck driver—who’d falling asleep at the wheel and sent the huge vehicle tumbling—soon died at the hospital they sent him too. Internal injuries are what they say the cause of death was for the driver, but before he died just then and there, the paramedics said he was fine, minus some scrapes and bruises! And worst of all, mom’s boyfriend, Jeff, is working in LA today and he always takes the 405. I hope he’s okay and not in that pile up.
WHAT is going on?! Either I’m freaking out, tripping on something, or it’s just a coincidence that all this strange shit is happening in one day. I know I’ve seen waaay too many horror movies, but I kind of don’t want to go back to work. Maybe I should call in and say I don’t feel good, lock myself somewhere safe, and prepare for the end of the world. Lol! Sure, like that could ever happen… but still, what if? I mean, it’s all starting to look like it…

Oh man, this is really scary; I just happened to have the TV on this morning (because I keep it on at night) and *** over a dozen bodies were found at the Bolsa Chica Wetlands! And stranger yet, they were mutilated beyond recognition. The "experts" say that they weren't attacked by animals, but people! The marks left on the body were from teeth and nails! If this isn't a sign of cannibalism, I don't know what it is, but we've never had a case of cannibalism here! So why now? What the hell? Crap you guys, I'm scared. I'm just glad I don't go to the wetlands. I hope they find the reasoning behind this. And to top off this strange morning, there's been an overflow of people coming into the hospitals because they've been sick, really sick. It's happening all over LA county. One hour they feel fine and then the next they say it's like having the flu. Dammit, now I wish I had gotten that Flu shot this year. Doctors say that like any cold and flu it's transfered from one person to the next, or even airborne; which seems to be the case for this. If I find anymore information, I'll post it at lunch today, I have to go to work soon and am probably going to be late if I write anymore. This is just really bizarre you guys. (***Please to be reading this. It is of importances.)- Tags:bliteotw
